The Mission of the City Attorney's Office:
The mission of the City Attorney's Office is to provide excellent and ethical legal advice, legal representation, and other quality legal services to the City of Elba to include the Elba City Council and Elba Water & Electric Board, so that they may lawfully make decisions without udue risk to the City.
The City Attorney's Office also prosecutes violations of the City's laws, enforcing ordinances adopted by the Elba City Council.
The City Attorney is appointed by the Mayor.
The City Attorney's Offices does not provide legal advice to members of the public.
