• Elba Kiwanis Club is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Kiwanis International Foundation to benefit the playground

• Three of our members were featured in the October, 2006 issue of the Kiwanis Kourier (our district newsletter).  Look on the 2nd page to see the photo of Jill Dunn, Laurie Chapman and Nell Gilmer (Elba Kiwanis members) at work.
• Nell Gilmer's picture of the playground that is shown on the homepage of our website was featured on the "Ole Elba Tales" website.
• Dues are $100 per year and are due by December 31, 2006.  This year we are adding $5 to send to the Kiwanis International Foundation.  We received a $10,000 grant from them foundation in July 2006 for the playground, so let's support them!
