Laurie Chapman, General Coordinator

Laurie is an active member of the Elba community. She is involved in the Elba Chamber of Commerce, New Seasons Study Club, Kiwanis Club, Covenant Community Church and is the sponsor for the Key Club at Elba High School.  She is the wife of Jim Chapman and they have two children: Brooke and Bradley.  She is employed by Cash Brothers Leasing and Mobile Attic.  She also runs a small print shop that specializes in printing for the wedding industry, which can be found online at: www.wiregrassweddings.com.

 

Jill Dunn, General Coordinator

Jill is BUSY, BUSY, BUSY all of the time. She is a full-time nursing student, wife to Troy, mother of Peyton and Garrett and also works in her family's business (Windham Lumber). She is also a member of the Elba Kiwanis Club.  Jill was the one who initially came up with the idea to build a playground in Elba. Thanks Jill!

Nell Gilmer, Treasurer

Nell is a very active member of the Elba community. She is involved in the Elba Kiwanis Club and is serving the playground committee as the treasurer. Her other activities include, being an active member of the John Coffee Chapter of DAR, and Elba United Methodist Church.  She has also taken on the responsibility of maintaining the landscaping at the Folsom House (on Putnam Street next to the Old Jail).  She resides in Elba with her husband, Jim, and son, James.  She enjoys traveling to Texas and South Carolina to visit with her other children and grandchildren.  Thanks for keeping all that money that's coming in straight for us, Nell!
